Monica P. Reed, MD has been a member of our Board of Directors since April 2021. She is an experienced leader of large regional health systems and community hospitals promoting the delivery of top-quality healthcare services. From 2021 to 2022, Dr. Reed served on the Board of Isleworth Healthcare Acquisition Corp. Previously, she served as chief medical officer of AdventHealth, a non-profit health care system, from 2001 to 2006. From 2006 to 2016, Reed was the senior executive officer and CEO of AdventHealth Celebration and then served as senior vice president for the Care Continuum and chief learning officer for the Central Florida region of the corporation until March 2018.
She founded the Reed Consulting Group in May 2018, where she currently consults with companies to address evolving clinical and healthcare needs. Reed also serves as a member of the Board of Directors for several other private and not-for-profit organizations.
Dr. Reed received her MD from Loma Linda University, School of Medicine, and completed her obstetrics and gynecology residency at the White Memorial Medical Center. She earned her MS in consulting and coaching for change from Saïd Business School at the University of Oxford. Dr. Reed self-identifies as African American.
