Unique patient cart design

The da Vinci SP patient cart provides 360° of anatomical access and the single arm design eliminates the possibility of external collisions and clashing of arms. Through one port, the da Vinci SP system allows you to reach anatomy in all four quadrants of the abdomen without redocking.⁴

Fully articulating endoscope

See anatomy clearly and visualize tissue planes with a 3DHD, fully articulating endoscope. The flexible da Vinci SP endoscope allows you to see above, below,⁵ and around anatomy during a procedure.

Triangulation inside the body

Control three instruments and an endoscope through a single incision.⁴ Da Vinci SP instruments give you greater natural range of motion than the human hand and are designed with an elbow and wrist, so you can achieve distal triangulation inside the patient’s body.

The safety and effectiveness of this device for use in the performance of general laparoscopic surgery procedures have not been established. This device is only intended to be used for single port urological procedures and for transoral otolaryngology surgical procedures in the oropharynx for benign tumors and malignant tumors classified as T1 and T2 with the da Vinci EndoWrist SP Instruments and the da Vinci SP surgical system (SP1098).
