Remote case observation and telementoring

Remotely observe a case or broadcast a live procedure. Telepresence technology enables surgeon-led training and collaboration without the need to travel.

Center of excellence from the Royal College of Surgeons

Intuitive had been designated a robotic center of excellence and is the largest provider of robotic-assisted surgical technology training to be accredited by Royal College of Surgeons of England. The accreditation awarded to Intuitive across its entire global education portfolio is an internationally recognized hallmark of quality.

It also enables Intuitive to offer Continuing Professional Development (CPD) points to physicians and nurses attending technology or surgeon-led trainings at our training centers in the EU & UK.

IRCAD certification of customer training materials

Intuitive’s da Vinci Xi Technology Training Pathway Phase 2 has been certified by IRCAD, meeting all criteria and standards for educating surgeons on the efficient, effective, and safe use of the da Vinci Xi surgical system. Milestones like this continue to elevate the standard of excellence and reliability in our training programs.

Da Vinci X & Xi Surgical Systems
The Intuitive Surgical Endoscopic Instrument Control Systems (da Vinci X and da Vinci Xi Surgical Systems) are intended to assist in the accurate control of Intuitive Surgical Endoscopic Instruments during urologic surgical procedures, general laparoscopic surgical procedures, gynecologic laparoscopic surgical procedures, general thoracoscopic surgical procedures, and trans-oral otolaryngology surgical procedures restricted to benign tumors and malignant tumors classified as T1 and T2, and for benign base of tongue resection procedures. The systems are indicated for adult and pediatric use (except for trans-oral otolaryngology surgical procedures). They are intended to be used by trained physicians in an operating room environment.

The da Vinci X and da Vinci Xi Surgical Systems are class IIb medical devices CE marked (CE 2460) under the European Medical Devices Directive (93/42/EEC), manufactured by Intuitive Surgical, Inc. Refer to Instructions For Use before use.
