The da Vinci E-200 generator is finely tuned for excellent energy delivery with our selection of 8-mm monopolar and bipolar instruments, Vessel Sealer Extend, and SynchroSeal on da Vinci X, da Vinci Xi, and da Vinci 5 systems.

In addition, the E-200 powers our Force Feedback instruments (Maryland Bipolar Forceps and Fenestrated Bipolar Forceps) on the da Vinci 5.

The E-100 specifically supports fast vessel sealing for our da Vinci advanced energy instruments (Vessel Sealer Extend and SynchroSeal) on da Vinci X and da Vinci Xi.

Contraindication

Use of the force feedback needle driver is contraindicated in hysterectomy and myomectomy due to the risk of vaginal bleeding requiring hospital readmission and/or the need for additional procedures. The use of non-force feedback needle drivers is recommended for suturing in these procedures.

The demonstration of safety and effectiveness for the representative-specific procedures was based on evaluation of the device as a surgical tool and did not include evaluation of outcomes related to the treatment of cancer (overall survival, disease-free survival, local recurrence) or treatment of the patient’s underlying disease or condition.
